Hello my lovelies!
Recently I caught myself pondering over my goals and planning them out. Mainly I was thinking about how I would go about keeping my notes each day and how I would keep my goal plans in a daily planning system. As I am sure you all know by now, I use a Plum Paper Planner to organize my week and I was struggling with how to keep a task list specific to meeting my goals, staying focused and still having my hourly schedule laid out in the same page.
After researching to no avail and continuously coming up empty handed when searching Instagram for some kind of inspiration I finally realized that I would have to create something myself if I wanted to have something perfect.
First there was the mockup:
It wasn’t easy, let me tell you! I had a lot I wanted to cram into a one page document and I wasn’t 100% sure how it would transfer from my hand drawn outline into a MS Word Doc (and later PDF). I also knew I wanted it simple and branded. There were also just a few things I wanted to be able to do with this daily planner:
- List my ONE goal for the week.
- Track my top 3 to-do items that would help me reach my target goal for the week.
- Break down my day by hour
- Offer a second to-do list for things I need to remember but don’t necessarily correlate to the goal I am working on.
- Have a space to keep track my my progress
- Include a notes section.
It took awhile but I finally landed on a design I could love and content that was absolutely perfectly fitting to all my requirements.
It’s simple, it’s classy, it’s branded and, best of all, it met every requirement I had!
Naturally I asked for beta testers and received an overwhelming response of wonderful people ready and willing to try out my new baby. I’m thrilled to know so many people who are as into planning as I am as well as so many people who are devoted to goal setting, tracking and; especially, meeting!
First I had it sent over to my email subscribers as a bonus feature then thought: Why not share it with ALL my readers?!
My aim is that you will print this daily planner, use it for a week or two and have all of your goal setting and planning changed for the better. And, of course, that you’ll provide me with feedback in case I need to tweak anything ;-)
I hope you enjoy your free printable! See ya next week!
