The Benefits of Hiring A Virtual Assistant

You can't do it all and do it all well.

You can't do it all and do it all well.  At least that's the mantra I try to live by. I repeat it often throughout the day. Multi-tasking doesn't exist. All it means is that you are simultaniously giving several tasks your limited attention.  Don't get me wrong, I used to believe I could do it all and do it all right. I thought multi=tasking was the best way to complete a task list. Boy, was I way W R O N G.

Just ask Emily Ley! At least that's the mantra I try to live by. I repeat it often throughout the day. Multi-tasking doesn't exist. All it means is that you are simultaneously giving several tasks your limited attention.

Understanding what small businesses have to go through to stay running, I can both relate and understand. I get it; it's hard. But there's good news! It doesn't have to be!

The benefits of hiring a Virtual Assistant are endless. Think of all the writing, product testing, shopping and reviewing you could accomplish by letting someone else handle your social media and getting all those posts scheduled. A dream come true, right. Plus, it gives you more free time to focus on family, friends and the general living of your life! How wonderful, right?

So what's the catch?

Well, you can hire help and you can learn to automate. These two things go hand in hand and a good Virtual Assistant knows how to handle the day to day as well as the automation.

As an example, I specialize in Buffer and Hootesuite for social media scheduling and I specialize in Blogger and Squarespace with a lot of knowledge in WordPress. Bam!

So what's stopping you?

Let me guess, money. You can't afford to pay someone to handle it all for you. VA's work for $20.00 and up an hour. That sounds like a lot. Again, as an example, I charge $30 an hour or $1500 a month. Whaaat?! you say? How could you ever afford it?

Well for starters, you'll be making more focusing on the monetary side of things so there's that covering you. But really it's the value you have to look at.

Is it worth it to you to pay $30/hour for:

  • Time with your children and significant other
  • A cleaner home
  • The ability to relax in the bath or with a book and glass of wine
  • The enjoyment of your coffee, fresh in the morning instead of stale from working too much to cram it all in before the kids get up.
  • Being able to write more posts and gain more exposure
  • Reviewing even more of your favorite products

The possibilities are absolutely endless!
