3 Tips on Time Blocking

Are we having a productive day, my friends? I certainly have been! And this post is going I show you how I have used time blocking to boost productivity and also my happiness. Ready?

Give your workday a makeover & feel more at eae with these three great tips!

1 | Time blocking keeps the day flowing

This is so true and so important to remember. By lumping like tasks into a 25 minute time block, you are knocking out your to do list while also streamlining your day. Example? U schedule 25 minutes a day to work on my social media for The Blog Studio. Then I take a break and work on my blog post and newsletter drafts. See? Time blocking!

2 | The Pompodoro method works!

I mentioned above to lump like tasks into 20 minute incrememnts. I did not make this up. I use the pompodoro method which practices 25 minutes of work and a 5 minute break every day. This works because you're giving your mind a break. True, some places of employment won't allow for this (restaurants for example) but practice where you can. Truth: I even use this method in my daily life. 25 minutes to clean something - break - 25 minutes to prep dinner - break. Application makes it happen!

3 | Time blocking makes your planner pretty!

Ok, so maybe this last one isn't as applicable as the first two. But points 1 and 2 are really all you need to rest assured that time blocking is actually for everyone if you can just give it a chance. Point three is more about preference ;-) But here's a look at how I time block to get an idea of why point 3 is important too!
